
Sarah Fiddaman A.R.A.D, Solo Seal
Sarah Fiddaman began dancing at the age of 5 in Papua New Guinea. Upon returning to Sydney she trained with Warren Gasson then later with Tanya Pearson. She graduated in 2002 from the Heinz Bosl Stiftung in Munich, and immediately joined a company Theatre Krefeld Moenchengladbach, under the direction of Heidrun Schwaarz. Role highlights include appearing as a flipper-clad Duck, an uncoordinated, sight impaired Swan and a pot bellied Ladybug in the children's production Max und Moritz (Peter Marcus); as the “Fade Away” girl in Rooster (Christopher Bruce); as well as a number of other soloist and corps roles in works by Schwaarz, Renato Zanella, Balanchine, Hans Van Manen, Kurt Joos, Augustus Damian, Silvia Behnke, Karine Andrei-Sutter, and Tanja Liedtke.
Upon her return to Australia she delved into contemporary dance and has since become involved with DirtyFeet, dancing in works by Carol Dilley, Michael Whaites, Kay Armstrong, Paul Cordeiro, Annalouise Paul, Anton, Eva Fernandez Adan and Richard Allen.
In 2006 Sarah was involved in a creative development with Angela Lee, danced at the Dance Awards in Form choreographed by Anton, and also danced in Anton’s choreography for a music video clip Garage Party by Mr. Jigga.
In 2007 Sarah danced Form at Dancehouse in Melbourne, and Pieces of Mind, choreographed by Eva Fernandez Adan, at Short, Sweet and Dance where she was awarded the prize for “Most Outstanding Female Dancer”.
Sarah teaches contemporary dance and classical ballet to children of all ages.
